‘Sentimental Value’ Dominates 38th European Film Awards, Wins Best Film

Winners of 38th European Film Awards

Sentimental Value dominated the 38th European Film Awards, winning six awards, including European Film, European Director for Joachim Trier, European Actress for Renate Reinsve, European Actor for Stellan Skarsgård, European Screenwriter, and European Composer (Original Score).

Sirāt closely followed with five awards, winning European Cinematographer, European Casting Director, European Editor, European Production Designer and European Sound Designer.

Other top awards went to Fiume O Morte! for European Documentary, European Animated Feature Film went to Arco directed by Ugo Bienvenu, and European Discovery – Prix FIPRESCI went to On Falling directed by Laura Carreira.

Also honored with the European Lifetime Achievement Award was Liv Ullmann, the European Achievement in World Cinema Award went to Alice Rohrwacher, and Eurimages International Co-Production Award went to Maren Ade, Jonas Dornbach, Janine Jackowski.
