Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett return with Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, the darkly hilarious blood-soaked sequel returns with Samara Weaving as Grace MacCaullay, now hunted not just by one in-law family but by four rival houses vying for ultimate power.
The star-studded cast also includes Kathryn Newton as Faith, Grace’s estranged sister, along with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, and Olivia Cheng.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come is slated to premiere at the 2026 South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival before opening in U.S. theaters on March 20, 2026, via Searchlight Pictures.
Here is the synopsis: Moments after surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace (Samara Weaving) discovers she’s reached the next level of the nightmarish game — and this time with her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) at her side. Grace has one chance to survive, keep her sister alive, and claim the High Seat of the Council that controls the world. Four rival families are hunting her for the throne, and whoever wins rules it all.
Director duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett told People, “We put a ton of love into this movie to make it a worthy sequel that we’re hoping fans of the first movie — and people who are getting to know Grace for the first time — will really love.”
