A small-town business rivalry spirals into something far stranger in Buffet Infinity, the audacious horror-comedy from director Simon Glassman
Written and directed by Glassman and co-written by Allison Bench and Elisia Snyder, the film stars Kevin Singh, Allison Bench, Ahmed Ahmed, and Brandon Vanderwall.
With its found-footage DNA and experimental structure, Buffet Infinity presents a wholly unconventional narrative told through a barrage of low-budget television commercials.
The film made its world premiere at the 2025 Fantasia International Film Festival, where it received a special jury mention for Best Canadian Director. It went on to screen at other festivals, including the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival and the Sitges Film Festival.
It will be released in select cinemas on April 24th and on video-on-demand nationwide on May 8th via Yellow Veil Pictures.

The film echoes the Canadian comedy classic SCTV, crosscutting between original, low-budget TV ads to tell the sinister tale of two restaurants battling it out in the fictional town of Westridge County. Ads for insurance, used car rivals, a local religious scholar, and a recording artist converge to tell the story of an expanding sinkhole, a cult, and an ever-growing restaurant that becomes unsettlingly sentient.
Horror Press‘ review described it as “a riotous romp, a hilarious horror that goes from zero to 100 pretty damn fast.” The review noted, “It is full of killer performances (looking at you, Ahmed Ahmed), is well-crafted, and sets a new precedent on an underutilized side of found footage. Buffet Infinity is a full-course meal.”
