The Pink Lagoon directed by Juan Arce and Francisco Gallo took the Best of Fest Audience Choice – Best Film Award at the 31st Annual Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival (SLIFF). Directed by Valerie Kontakos, the documentary Queen of the Deuce tells the story of Chelly Wilson, entrepreneur, and Holocaust escapist who built an empire in the Times Square pornography circuit in the 1970s. The film world premieres at DOC NYC on November 11, 2022.
