Matt Damon To Narrate Lance Armstrong Documentary
Matt Damon has been confirmed as being involved in a Lance Armstrong documentary due for release next year, with the American actor set to narrate the Alex Gibney-made film. The project, which is mainly based around Armstrong’s 2009 comeback to the Tour de France, will presumably be launched before the 2011 Tour in order to capitalise on media attention.

CMJIFF (CMJ International Film Festival) in New York City
Taipei Exchanges CMJ and Little W will present the inaugural CMJIFF (CMJ International Film Festival). The festival will present six films shot on four continents and in languages as diverse as Mandarin, Mongolian, French, German and Lingala. Screenings will take place at Clearview Cinemas, NYU Cantor Film Center and the Florence Gould Hall on October 20 and 21.

12th Mumbai Film Festival Line-Up of Films
The line-up for the 12th annual Mumbai Film Festival (MFF), consists of 200 films from 58 countries. All the international films to be screened in the main sections of this year’s festival will be Indian, Asian or world premieres. Director, David Fincher’s Social Network will open the Festival on October 21st, 2010.

Rooftop Films is now accepting submissions for our 2011 Summer Series. In May 2011 we will begin our 15th year of bringing the best underground films in the world outdoors and to the rooftops of New York City. Filmmakers who submit their films are given the chance to participate in one of the most unique, filmmaker-friendly, independent film events in the world.
The 2011 Summer Series will run from May through September and will feature more than 200 daring new films, all screened outdoors, in front of big, loyal audiences in parks, on boats, and on rooftops overlooking the greatest city in the world. In 2010 they also organized 10 outdoor shows in Toronto, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and other cities all across the Northeast, and they plan to continue their expansion across the U.S in 2011.
