From the producers of ‘The Wave Trilogy’, Magnet Releasing debuted the official trailer for World War II period war film, ‘The Arctic Convoy’. The film tells the story of the brave civilian merchant ships fighting through the Arctic sea to bring supplies for soldiers on the front lines.

Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz’s Cuba-set early ‘90s coming of age tale Los Frikis won the Narrative Feature Audience Award at the 29th annual Nantucket Film Festival® (NFF). Brendan Bellomo and Slava Leontyev’s Porcelain War, focused on Ukrainians using their art to resist during war, was the recipient of the Documentary Feature Audience Award. Puppy Love, directed by Daniel Rashid and written by Rashid and Elizabeth Valenti, about a woman who has to decide if her connection with a new man is a deep one or if she just likes his dog, received the Narrative Short Film Audience Award. Tom Dey’s Jumpman, profiling the photographer behind the iconic Michael Jordan mid-air shot, took home the Documentary Short Film Audience Award.

Drafthouse Films revealed the trailer for the remastered and reconstruction of the 1980 controversial cult classic ‘Caligula’. Caligula: The Ultimate Cut is a complete reconstruction of one of cinema’s most lavish-yet-notorious productions in a glorious 4K Ultra High Definition restoration. This presentation of the legendary title made its World Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023, introducing both new generations of movie audiences and classic filmgoers. Its miraculous reconstruction, comprised of 100% of never before seen footage, uses alternate takes and camera angles, and features – for the first time – the complete film narrative.
Originally distributed as ‘Phantom Halo’, Sleep No More is a Los Angeles-set neo noir crime thriller, combining grit and atmospheric style, occasional comic desperation and an inspired literary bent. As the film reaches it’s 10th anniversary, director Antonia Bogdanovich revisited her feature film directorial debut with a goal of releasing the version that she originally envisioned. So, as a tribute to her late father, Peter Bogdanovich (who also executive produced the 2014 film) she produced Sleep No More: The Director’s Cut.
