Fano International Film Festival has gained great prestige and interest over the years in Italy and abroad; this is one of the reasons why its former name, Fano Film Festival, has been changed. It has become a landmark for filmmakers, experts and the specialized Press as a significant and qualifying moment for the whole genuine independent national and overseas cinema. Its main aim is to promote the release of films of young directors have shot whose innovating, refining, artistic language and meanings are able to express new ideas, themes and subjects.
