Hispanic Federation presents FUERZAfest – New York City’s first-ever Latino LGBTQ Festival. FUERZAfest aims to provide a space for dialogue and awareness of social issues, including the prejudices stemming from ignorance and homophobia, that threaten the LGBTQ community. This 12-day-long festival will have workshops, panel discussions, networking events, art exhibits, film screenings, and – as the main attraction – a theater competition featuring one-act plays that dive into universal LGBTQ issues.
