Tribeca Festival unveiled the lineup for the 2023 Tribeca Immersive where top XR creators will debut their latest works. Now in its 11th year, Tribeca’s immersive program highlights virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, and participatory experiences by artists who push the boundaries of creative and emotional storytelling.
The 22nd edition of Open Roads: New Italian Cinema, returns to Film at Lincoln Center from June 1 to 8 with a diverse and extensive lineup of contemporary Italian films.
Filmmaker and artist Harmony Korine will be honored with the Pardo d’onore Manor, the award for outstanding achievement in cinema, at the upcoming 76th Locarno Film Festival. The festival will feature screenings of two titles picked from his filmography by the director himself: Gummo (1997) and Spring Breakers (2012). Korine will also meet with the Festival public in a panel conversation at Forum @Spazio Cinema.

DC/DOX, the documentary film festival in Washington, DC, will kick off its first annual edition with Joan Baez I Am A Noise, directed by Karen O’Connor, Miri Navasky, and Maeve O’Boyle, and close with Lisa Cortés and Diego Hurtado de Mendoza’s The Space Race. The inaugural DC/DOX festival will be held June 15-18, 2023 in Washington, DC.
