2022 Green Film Festival of San Francisco presented by San Francisco IndieFest will take place October 6 – 16, with 50+ independent feature and short length films from around the world that focus on green and environmental issues. The festival opens with Pasang directed by Nancy Svendsen, and Into the Weeds: Dewayne “Lee” Johnson vs. Monsanto Company directed by Jennifer Baichwal as closing night film.
Mark Fletcher’s Patrick and the Whale opens and Kathlyn Horan’s The Return of Tanya Tucker – Featuring Brandi Carlile will close the 31st Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival taking place October 7-15 at the Arlington Hotel & Spa. Ben Klein and Violet Columbus’ The Exiles and Shaunak Sen’s All That Breathes will screen as the Centerpiece Selections.
The animated feature My Love Affair With Marriage by Latvian-born and Brooklyn-based Signe Baumane will open the 5th New York Baltic Film Festival (NYBFF) presented by Scandinavia House: The Nordic Center in America. Film at Lincoln Center unveiled the official posters of the 60th New York Film Festival by photographer Nan Goldin, subject of this year’s Centerpiece film All the Beauty and the Bloodshed, which debuts October 7 at Alice Tully Hall. In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the festival, Goldin has designed two limited edition posters to commemorate this year’s milestone.
International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) return to cinemas from October 14 to 16 2022 for the 51st edition, with a program lineup of 35 films, previously only made available to press and industry online earlier this year.
