Corey Payette’s ‘Starwalker’ Musical Drama Makes World Premiere at Inside Out Toronto 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival
Starwalker by Corey Payette (Pender PR) Starwalker, the dramatic musical feature film from award-winning Indigenous writer, director and composer Corey Payette (Les Filles du Roi) will have its world premiere at the 35th edition of the Inside Out Toronto 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival on May 23, 2025. The film, which screens on the festival’s opening night, was adapted from a musical production of the same name.

The festival is held in partnership with Film at Lincoln Center (FLC), the Maysles Documentary Center, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
