Filmmaker Payal Kapadia will be honored with a Spotlight Program along with the prestigious Mind the Gap Award for her groundbreaking work in global cinema, at the 47th Mill Valley Film Festival (MVFF47).

Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston, known for his iconic roles as Walter White in AMC’s crime drama Breaking Bad and Hal in Fox’s sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2024 Santa Fe International Film Festival taking place from October 16-20 in Santa Fe, NM.

The 33rd Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival taking place October 18-26, 2024, in Arkansas will kick off with Marah Strauch and Bryce Leavitt’s Space Cowboy that takes a thrilling look at the life of legendary skydiver and cinematographer Joe Jennings.
