The International Black Film Festival Nashville (IBBFN) announced the ever growing festival lineup for its fourth annual film festival, which commences with a pre-festival Faith & Film kickoff on Sunday, Sept. 26, and the official festival starting on Wednesday, Sept. 29-Saturday, Oct. 2. The Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival (TVIFF) announced today that Raquel Welch, sex symbol of the 1960s and 1970s and current best-selling author will be given the Icon Award at the 16th Annual festival, September 15-19, 2010. Welch will receive the award in person at an open to the public, star-studded, black tie gala on closing night of the festival. Known for her glamour and beauty, Welch has sustained a high profile career over five decades in more than 35 films, scores of television appearances and on the stage.

The New York Surf Film Festival(NYSFF), presented by JetBlue Airways and The Dominican Republic, has put the final touches on this year’s features program. Ten officially selected feature length films and two cult classics are set to be screened September 24th- 26th at the legendary Tribeca Cinemas in downtown Manhattan.
The Tribeca Film Festival announced today that the tenth annual Tribeca Film Festival will be held April 20 – May 1, 2011.
