Cannes Film Festival will bestow its most prestigious honor, the honorary Palme d’or, on Studio Ghibli, the Japanese animation studio created by Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata. This is the first time the award traditionally given to a cinema legend, will be given to a group.

In his first feature, Millet’s Ghost Trail starring French-Tunisian actor Adam Bessa tells the story of a war criminal hunted down by one of his victims who never saw his oppressor’s face, but knows his smell, his voice, and his skin.
