The Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival has reported that this year was a record-breaking year for the festival, with the highest ticket sales ever. Over 18,400 tickets were sold, compared to the approximately 17,900 sold last year.

The Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival (RBIFF) is the oldest and largest event of its kind in the State of Delaware. The award winning RBIFF has developed into a mid-Atlantic fall destination event for film enthusiasts from more than fifteen states. The eleven-day event is held every November and offers a wide variety of American and international feature, documentary and short films. The Festival is presented by the Rehoboth Beach Film Society, which also provides a broad scope of independent film screenings, mini-Festivals, and theme-oriented film series throughout the year.
