SCAD Savannah Film Festival (SAVFF) is teaming up with Amazon Studios for a new dedicated SAVFF LGBTQ+ Short Film Competition, which will premiere during the festival, October 21–28, 2023.

The Savannah College of Art and Design announced the award winners for the 25th annual SCAD Savannah Film Festival. Pinball – The Man Who Saved the Game, directed by Austin Bragg and Meredith Bragg won the award for Best Narrative Feature; and Sam Now won the award Best Documentary Feature along with Best Director for Reed Harkness.

The Savannah College of Art and Design hosts this year’s 25th anniversary edition of SCAD Savannah Film Festival in person, October 22–29, 2022. The SCAD Savannah Film Festival will screen 143 films, including 53 narrative feature films, 20 documentary feature films, and 79 shorts, with eight world premieres and six U.S. premieres.

The Savannah College of Art and Design announced the award winners for the 24th annual SCAD Savannah Film Festival. In the professional competition, Best Documentary Feature went to Medicine Man: The Stan Brock Story, directed by Paul Michael Angell; and Best Narrative Feature went to The Falconer, directed by Adam Sjöberg and Seanne Winslow in addition to the Best Director honors.

Simon Rex (Red Rocket) will receive the Spotlight Award and Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Power of the Dog) will receive the Discovery Award during their respective film screenings at the upcoming 24th annual SCAD Savannah Film Festival taking place in person and virtually October 23–30, 2021.

The 24th annual SCAD Savannah Film Festival returns in-person and virtually from October 23–30, 2021 with 157 films, including 45 narrative feature films, 15 documentary feature films and 97 shorts – with 63 of these films directed by women.

The Savannah College of Art and Design announces the award winners for the 23rd annual SCAD Savannah Film Festival. A key stop on the festival circuit leading up to the Academy Awards, the SCAD Savannah Film Festival screened 153 films, including 21 narrative films, 17 documentary films, and 112 shorts with 14 world premieres. More than 1,700 films were submitted for the festival.

Tony and Emmy award winner Billy Crystal will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 23rd annual SCAD Savannah Film Festival, taking place as a virtual experience October 24 – October 31. Crystal will receive his award on Monday, October 26 following the screening of his latest critically acclaimed film Standing Up, Falling Down.
