Focus Features will release the new documentary Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain from filmmaker Morgan Neville in theaters on Friday, July 16, 2021. The film will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on Friday, June 11, 2021.

Hulu will release Emmy Award–winning director/cinematographer Peter Nicks’ 2021 Sundance Film Festival official selection Homeroom. Homeroom is Peter Nicks’ final chapter in a trilogy of films examining the relationship between health care, criminal justice, and education in Oakland, CA over the past decade. Hulu also has the U.S. streaming rights to The Waiting Room(2012) and The Force (2017) so audiences can experience all three projects of this groundbreaking trilogy together.

HBO released the official trailer for The Crime of the Century, a two-part documentary directed by Emmy® and Academy Award® winner Alex Gibney (HBO’s “The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley,” “Going Clear: Scientology & the Prison of Belief”), and presented in association with The Washington Post. The documentary, described as “a searing indictment of Big Pharma and the political operatives and government regulations that enabled over-production, reckless distribution and abuse of synthetic opiates” debuts Monday, May 10 (9:00-10:50 p.m. ET/PT), with Part Two airing the following evening.

Roadside Attractions released the official trailer for Rita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go for It, the documentary film on the life and career of singer, actress, dancer and EGOT award winners Rita Moreno.
Directed by Christopher André Marks (Tiger Hood, 2015), the inspiring sports documentary film King Otto tells the story of the Greek National Football Team, that had never won a single match or even scored a goal in a major tournament, went on to win the European Championship led by legendary German football coach “King” Otto Rehhagel.
Metrograph Pictures released the official trailer for Sisters with Transistors, a new feature documentary portraying the iconic women who pioneered electronic music, opening nationwide Friday, April 23 exclusively at Metrograph.com, starting with a live screening and panel discussion at 8pm ET on April 23, followed by a limited on-demand window and a series of special events. A national virtual cinema rollout will follow. The film had its world premiere at the 2020 SXSW Film Festival, won the Next Wave Award at CPH:DOX, and screened at AFI Fest and Sheffield Doc Fest, among many others.
