The Origin of Evil (L’Origine du Mal) IFC Films acquired The Origin of Evil (L’Origine du Mal), the thriller from writer and director Sébastien Marnier (Faultless, School’s Out) starring Laure Calamy (Cesar winner for My Donkey, My Lover & I and star of Call My Agent), Doria Tillier, Dominique Blanc, Jacques Weber, Suzanne Clément, Céleste Brunnquell, and Véronique Ruggia Saura, for release in the US. The Origin of Evil world premiered at the Venice Film Festival, followed by its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last month. IFC Films will release the film in 2023.
