IFC Films will release R.M.N., the new film from award winning writer, director and producer Cristian Mungiu, set to world premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. This marks the fifth time IFC Films will release a film by Mungiu.

The film went on to screen at multiple prestigious film festivals including its North American premiere at the 2021 New York Film Festival and the 55th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

Described as the “slyly meta-cinematic experiment,” The Tsugua Diaries (Diários de Otsoga) by Portuguese director Miguel Gomes (Arabian Nights) and his partner and collaborator Maureen Fazendeiro is set to open on Friday, May 27 at Film at Lincoln Center in New York City before moving onto other cinemas nationwide via distributor KimStim. Starring in the film are Crista Alfaiate, Carloto Cotta, and João Nunes Monteiro.

Written and directed by Saim Sadiq, Joyland will be the first Pakistani feature ever to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. Joyland will compete in the Official Selection’s Un Certain Regard and will also vie for the Caméra d’Or.

The White Fortress stars Pavle Čemerkić as Faruk, an orphan who meets a timid teen girl, played by Sumeja Dardagan, from an affluent family; the two form a relationship as she explores his life of foraging and petty crime as a means of escaping her toxic home life. The cast also includes Jasmin Geljo, Kerim Čutuna, Alban Ukaj and Irena Mulamuhić.
