Breaking Glass Pictures will release Is That You? (¿Eres tú, papá?), the gripping and suspenseful debut feature by filmmaker Rudy Riverón Sánchez and the first psychological horror film made in Cuba. Is That You? opens Friday, August 2 at the Laemmle Music Hall in Los Angeles, followed by a DVD & VOD release on Tuesday, August 13.

The ten films which make up the Official Selection of the 2019 edition of the LUX Prize Competition was unveiled at the 54th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

Big World Pictures will release Radu Jude’s “I Do Not Care If We Go Down in History as Barbarians” Romania’s official selection for the 2019 Academy Awards (Best Foreign Language Film). “I Do Not Care If We Go Down in History as Barbarians” named Best Feature at the 2018 Karlovy Vary International Film festival and an official selection at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival, will open at IFC Center in New York on July 19 and at Laemmle Monica in Los Angeles on July 26. Netflix has acquired worldwide rights to Mati Diop’s award winning film Atlantics that premiered at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Grand Prix. Atlantics is Diop’s feature directorial debut and she is the first black woman ever to compete for the Palme d’Or.
