Dag Johan Haugerud’s ‘Love’ sets US release at Film Forum in New York City



Durga Chew-Bose’s directorial debut, Bonjour Tristesse, is a reimagining of Françoise Sagan’s 1954 novel, set against the sun-drenched backdrop of the French Riviera. The coming of age romantic drama film stars Lily McInerny as Cécile, a teenager navigating a summer of emotional upheaval, with Claes Bang portraying her charismatic father, along with Nailia Harzoune – his new girlfriend, and Chloë Sevigny as Anne, a fashion designer whose arrival disrupts their idyllic retreat.


Fresh off the NYC premiere at New Directors/New Films, Dekanalog revealed the new trailer and release date for Drowning Dry (Sesės), the family drama film from Lithuanian filmmaker Laurynas Bareiša, co-produced by Academy Award-winner Matiss Kaza (Flow). The film was Lithuania’s entry in the Best International Feature Film category at the 97th Academy Awards.



The Puerto Rican ecofeminist drama The Fishbowl (La Pecera) from artist Glorimar Marrero Sánchez is expanding to additional U.S. theaters across the New York tri-state area, Philadelphia, Florida, and other cities this Friday, April 4, following a strong theatrical release debut.

Iair Said wrote and stars in his feature film directorial debut, Most People Die on Sundays (Los domingos mueren más personas), the Argentine comedy-drama film loosely based on his real-life experiences when his own father died.

IFC Films and Shudder debtued the official trailer for The Ugly Stepsister (Den stygge stesøsteren), the Norwegian fairy tale horror from writer and director Emilie Blichfeldt that takes a sinister twist on the classic Cinderella story.
