IFC Films acquired Sundance award-winning director Chad Hartigan’s Little Fish, starring Olivia Cooke (Ready Player One, The Sound of Metal), Jack O’Connell (Unbroken, Seberg) Raúl Castillo (We the Animals), and Soko. Little Fish was an official selection at the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival in the US Narrative Competition, and IFC Films plans to release the film on February 5th, 2021.
Amazon released the new trailer for the award-winning drama Sound of Metal, coming to select theaters on November 20, and to Prime Video on December 4 in the U.S. Directed by Darius Marder, the film starring Riz Ahmed, Olivia Cooke, Paul Raci, Lauren Ridloff, Shaheem Sanchez, Chelsea Lee, Jeremy Stone and Mathieu Amalric won the Golden Eye for Best International Feature Film at the 15th Zurich Film Festival.

IFC Midnight will release killer-thriller Hunter Hunter, starring Devon Sawa (Final Destination, Idle Hands) and Nick Stahl (Bully, Disturbing Behavior) with Camille Sullivan (The Man in the High Castle), and Summer Howell (Curse of Chucky). The film, directed and written by Shawn Linden, will be released on December 18th, 2020.
Sony Pictures Classics will release Florian Zeller’s The Father in theaters in New York and Los Angeles on December 18, 2020, followed by most major markets on Christmas Day. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.

Woody Allen’s A Rainy Day in New York, the romantic comedy, starring Timothée Chalamet, Elle Fanning and Selena Gomez, Jude Law, Diego Luna and Liev Schreiber will be released nationwide in select theaters starting October 9, 2020.
