Mubi debuted the official trailer for The History of Sound, a historical romantic drama film directed by South African filmmaker Oliver Hermanus (Moffie, Living). Set in the aftermath of World War I, it chronicles the love story between two music students, played by Paul Mescal and Josh O’Connor. Also starring in the film are Molly Price, Chris Cooper, and Hadley Robinson.

Ben Stiller is directing and producing a new Apple documentary feature titled “Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost” on the inspiring story of his parents, comedy icons Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. It is set to premiere in select theaters October 17, and stream on Apple TV+ October 24, 2025.

AJ Goes to the Dog Park, the debut feature film from director Toby Jones (not the British actor) stars AJ Thompson as the lovably average AJ, whose blissful routine – complete with buttered toast, a calm day job, and daily visits to the dog park with his pups – gets turned upside-down when the park is transformed into a ‘blog park’. Alongside Thompson, the cast includes Crystal Cossette Knight as the mayor, with Morgan Davy, Danny Davy, and a host of Fargo locals rounding out the quirky ensemble.
