Apple TV+ announced a new documentary series ‘K-Pop Idols’ offering a behind-the-scenes look on one of the biggest pop culture musical phenomenon known as K-pop. The six-episode documentary series will feature beloved K-pop artists Jessi and K-pop groups Cravity and Blackswan.

After having its world premiere at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival to critical acclaim, Netflix debuted the trailer for ‘His Three Daughters’ starring Natasha Leone, Elizabeth Olsen, and Carrie Coon as three sisters with different personalities, reuniting after their father’s health declines.

Brainstorm Media revealed the official trailer for I’ll Be Right There, an indie comedy/drama film starring Edie Falco (The Sopranos, Nurse Jackie), ‘I’ll Be Right There’. The film tells the story of a divorced mother of two struggling between taking care of her family and her own personal life.
A documentary on comedy legend Mel Brooks is currently in production from HBO Documentary and Apatow Productions. Emmy and BAFTA winner Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up) is directing the project alongside co-director Michael Bonfiglio, with Joe Beshenkovsky editing the project. The three has previously collaborated on ‘George Carlin’s American Dream’, a documentary on the life of stand-up comedian George Carlin.
Dark Sky Films unveiled the official trailer for ‘Hostile Dimensions’, a new film by director Graham Hughes (Death of a Vlogger). The horror/thriller/sci-fi film uses a found-footage style of filmmaking with unique low-budget style and production designs.

83-year-old documentary filmmaker Ralph Arlyck got his career started back in 1970 with a short documentary he made titled ‘Sean’ that got premiered in France alongside legendary filmmaker François Truffaut’s ‘The Lost Child’. More than 50 years later, now in his 80s, Arlyck makes a documentary of him contemplating his past, his present, and his eventual end, ‘I Like It Here’, his first film in 18 years.

Quiver Distribution revealed the official trailer for First Shift, an independent film by director Uwe Boll, ‘First Shift’. Boll was famous for his videogame adaptations and the infamous ‘Raging Boll’, a series of boxing matches he held to challenge critics of his movies. Coming out of retirement, Boll’s new film tells the story of two NYPD officers as they navigate through challenges, celebrate their victories, and forge an unwavering bond amidst adversity.
Apple TV+ revealed the trailer for Cowboy Cartel, a four-part documentary series documenting the story of the downfall of Treviño brothers, prominent Mexican cartel ‘Los Zetas’, and the multimillion-dollar money laundering operation they ran through the heart of the American Quarter Horse racing industry taken down by the investigation from rookie FBI agent Scott Lawson. The docuseries is directed by Dan Johnstone (‘Hillsong: A Megachurch Exposed’, ‘American Cartel’) and Castor Fernandez (‘The All-American Cuban Comet’, ‘Brothers in Exile’).
