2024 Tribeca Festival Unveils Short Films and Music Video Lineup
The 2024 Tribeca Festival unveiled its lineup of 87 short narrative, documentary, and animated films, including 65 films in competition and 10 music videos. This year’s Festival, which takes place June 5-16, showcases 12 short film sections, presented by Starbucks, programmed to delight audiences with heartwarming and hilarious storytelling.

Gunnur Martinsdóttir Schlüter’s FÁR Wins Eva Maria Daniels Prize at Stockfish Film & Industry Festival

The prestigious prize came with 1.5 million Icelandic Króna for the filmmaker to put towards their next project. The ceremony took place at the 25th annual Edda Awards, presented by the Icelandic Film and Television Academy.

The short film follows a wealthy couple who meets two scrap dealers at a recycle center. Offering them more junk the wealthy couple invites them to their mansion, but the immigrants actually might be the ones with something she wants.
