
Sean Baker’s Anora won the top prize – Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures at the 36th Annual Producers Guild Awards.

Sean Baker’s Anora bested a field of 10 nominees to win Best Picture (the film’s only win) at the 30th Critics Choice Awards, with Emilia Pérez, The Substance and Wicked leading the field with three wins each.

The Substance, Dream Scenario, Dune: Part Two and Godzilla Minus One are among the film winners at the 52nd annual Saturn Awards.

Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist won the top prize, and the film’s only win, for Film of the Year at the 45th London Critics’ Circle Film Awards, with Nickel Boys, Conclave, and A Real Pain dominating with multiple wins for other awards.

Emilia Pérez leads the nominations for the 97th Oscars with 13 nominations including Best Motion Picture of the Year, Best international feature film (France), Karla Sofía Gascón – best actress, Zoe Saldaña – supporting actress.

Marla Gibbs and Aaron Pierre have been added to the list of honorees at the 7th American Black Film Festival (ABFF) Honors. ABFF Honors will also celebrate the community of Altadena, paying tribute to its residents and their extraordinary contributions to Black history and culture.

Love Lies Bleeding, Problemista, and Queer lead the films nominated for the 36th GLAAD Media Awards, each receiving 3 nominations including Outstanding Film.

Dune: Part Two led the the nominations for the 2024 Online Film Critics Society Awards in 9 categories including Best Picture, and Best Directing for Denis Villeneuve. The Brutalist followed closely with 8 nominations including Best Picture, Best Directing for Brady Corbet, and Best Actor for Adrien Brody.

Jane Schoenbrun’s I saw the TV Glow leads the nominations for the 16th Dorian Film Awards, with nine nods, including Film of the Year, LGBTQ Film of the Year, Screenplay of the Year, and LGBTQ Screenplay of the Year. Schoenbrun also received a nomination in the Director of the Year category.
