Cinema Eye Honors unveiled the 16 films on the Audience Choice Prize Longlist, the Unforgettables Honorees, nominees in five Broadcast categories, and the annual Shorts List — spotlighting 11 of the year’s top documentary short films for its 18th annual edition.

The Kneecap trio Liam Óg Ó Hannaidh, Naoise Ó Cairealláin, JJ Ó Dochartaigh are nominated for Best Joint Lead Performance. The film is also nominated for eight craft categories.
Emilia Pérez and The Room Next Door lead the nominations for the 37th European Film Awards with four nominations including the top honor of European Film. Emilia Pérez also received nominations for European Director and European Screenwriter for Jacques Audiard, and European Actress for Karla Sofía Gascón.
Documentarian Rory Kennedy will receive the Pennebaker Award at the Ninth Annual Critics Choice Documentary Awards on Sunday, November 10, 2024. The late Critics Choice Lifetime Achievement Award winner D. A. Pennebaker inspired the name of the award, and Chris Hegedus, Pennebaker’s producing partner and widow, will present it.
Bob Trevino Likes It directed by Tracie Laymon took both the Best Narrative Feature award and the Audience Choice Award, Narrative at the 22nd New Hampshire Film Festival (NHFF). The film stars Barbie Ferreira as a young woman who searches for her estranged father, Bob Trevino, online and forms a bond with a different man of the same name played by John Leguizamo.
