
Nomadland took the top honors of Detroit Film Critics Society nabbing best picture of 2020, along with best director for Chloe Zhao, best actress for Frances McDormand and best adapted screenplay.

“Nomadland” led the winners in the film categories at the 26th annual Critics Choice Awards, taking home four awards including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay for Chloé Zhao, and Best Cinematography for Joshua James Richards. Zhao is the first Chinese woman to win as either director or writer.
