Ripple Effect Films and Argot Pictures present the US Theatrical release of SAINT MISBEHAVIN’: THE WAVY GRAVY MOVIE, a documentary by Michelle Esrick. Official selection at SXSW, Mill Valley, Maui and numerous other festivals, SAINT MISBEHAVIN’ will open in San Francisco and Bay Area on Friday, December 3, and at the IFC Center in New York on Wednesday, December 8. Other cities will follow.
Zeitgeist Films presents the US theatrical release of VISION, a film by Margaretha von Trotta. Official Selection – Telluride and Toronto film festivals, VISION will open in Los Angeles at Laemmle theaters on November 12. A national release will follow.

Kanye finally premiered his short film “Runaway”. The 35 minute film, written by Hype Williams and directed by Kanye, showcases nine songs from Kanye’s upcoming album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Matt Damon has been confirmed as being involved in a Lance Armstrong documentary due for release next year, with the American actor set to narrate the Alex Gibney-made film. The project, which is mainly based around Armstrong’s 2009 comeback to the Tour de France, will presumably be launched before the 2011 Tour in order to capitalise on media attention.
CMJ and Little W will present the inaugural CMJIFF (CMJ International Film Festival). The festival will present six films shot on four continents and in languages as diverse as Mandarin, Mongolian, French, German and Lingala. Screenings will take place at Clearview Cinemas, NYU Cantor Film Center and the Florence Gould Hall on October 20 and 21.

The line-up for the 12th annual Mumbai Film Festival (MFF), consists of 200 films from 58 countries. All the international films to be screened in the main sections of this year’s festival will be Indian, Asian or world premieres. Director, David Fincher’s Social Network will open the Festival on October 21st, 2010.
