Sundance Film Festival: London 2022, taking place from 9 to 12 June at Picturehouse Central will present 12 feature films from the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, U.S.A. The Festival opens on 9 June with the UK premiere of Good Luck To You, Leo Grande, directed by Sundance alumna and Best Director winner (at Sundance Film Festival 2022), Sophie Hyde.
48th Seattle International Film Festival announced the winners of the 2022 Golden Space Needle with Know Your Place directed by Zia Mohajerjasbi winning the Golden Space Needle Audience Award for Best Film along with New American Cinema Jury Award. Grand Jury Prizes went to Klondike, winner of the Official Competition, The Territory won for Best Documentary, Sublime won in the Ibero-American Competition, and Lonely Voices won for Best Performance. Other top awards including Best Documentary went to Radiograph of a Family Dale Dickey and A Love Song won Best Performance.

The 2022 Harlem International Film Festival (Hi) announced official selections for its 17th edition – a hybrid event taking place May 5-15. The film festival will open with a gala presentation of three films making world premieres at the New York Public Library’s Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture (515 Malcolm X Blvd.).
