IFC films released the new official trailer for Cow, Academy Award winner Andrea Arnold’s (Fish Tank, American Honey) intimate portrait of one dairy cow’s life. The film highlights the beauty and challenges cows face, and their great service to us all.

Fiddler’s Journey to the Big Screen, a documentary film directed by Daniel Raim (Harold and Lillian: A Hollywood Love Story) will have its New York release on April 29 at the Angelika Film Center, and Los Angeles release on May 6 at Laemmle Royal. A national release will follow.

Breaking Glass Pictures released the official trailer for Jump,Darling, the LGBTQ+ family drama starring Oscar and BAFTA award-winning actress Cloris Leachman, who passed away in January, 2021 at the age of 94. The film opens in select theaters on March 18 and on DVD, digital on March 29.

IFC Midnight released the official trailer for The Innocents, the Norwegian horror film by Eskil Vogt, a co-writer on the Oscar-nominated film The Worst Person in the World with Joachim Trier.

The Academy Award®-nominated documentary short, When We Were Bullies, from longtime HBO collaborator Jay Rosenblatt (HBO’s “Phantom Limb,” “Human Remains”) has been acquired by HBO Documentary Films; and will debut Wednesday, March 30 (9:00-9:35 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max.

HamptonsFilm announced that the 30th anniversary of the Hamptons International Film Festival will take place October 7 – 16, 2022, with live and in-person events and screenings. For the 2022 edition, the festival will be extended to a 10-day event with additional film programming across the Hamptons.

Flee, Jonas Poher Rasmussen’s animated documentary took the top prize at the 15th Annual Cinema Eye Honors, winning the award for Outstanding Achievement in Nonfiction Filmmaking. Jessica Kingdon’s Ascension won three awards, the most of the evening, for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography, Original Score and Debut Feature. Both films have been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.

Sun Valley Film Festival, returning as an in-person event from March 30-April 3, 2022, announced this year’s award honors and initial film lineup for the 11th annual event. This year’s award honorees include Woody Harrelson and Amy Poehler, who will receive Vision Awards, and Dr. Nathalie Dougé, who is the recipient of National Geographic’s Further Award. The festival will screen more than 25 narrative and documentary features.

The 46th Cleveland International Film Festival announced its feature film juried competitions. Thirty-nine films are included in three esteemed competitions, with $30,000 in cash prizes available.

CODA won Best Picture at the 5th Annual Hollywood Critics Film Awards, along with Best Supporting Actor for Troy Kotsur and Best Adapted Screenplay for Siân Heder.
