Jimpa starring Olivia Colman and John Lithgow will open the 2025 editions of NewFest Pride on Thursday, May 29th and Frameline49, the 49th San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival on Wednesday, June 18th. Directed by filmmaker Sophie Hyde, the drama made its world premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.


Harley Flanagan: Wired for Chaos directed by Rex Miller is a raw and unfiltered documentary that explores the tumultuous life of Harley Flanagan, the founder of the hardcore punk band Cro-Mags. The film traces Flanagan’s journey from a chaotic childhood in New York City’s Lower East Side to his rise in the punk scene at age 11 as the drummer for his aunt’s band, the Stimulators. Through candid interviews with Flea, Henry Rollins, Ice T, Michael Imperioli, Matt Serra, the Late Anthony Bourdain and more, the documentary looks at Flanagan’s transformation from a life of violence and trauma.
Disney+ unveiled the trailer for “Flintoff” the documentary film featuring former international cricketer and broadcast presenter Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff. The documentary film will premiere exclusively on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland on Friday 25 April.
