The 22nd edition of Boston Underground Film Festival returns to Harvard Square, bringing with it five days of “sublime cinervana” to the Brattle Theatre from March 25th through the 29th.

The 37th edition of Miami Film Festival today announced the jurors in all competition categories for its upcoming edition, running March 6 – 15, 2020. The 2020 Sun Valley Film Festival (SVFF),announced its honorees – Amy Poehler, Winston Duke, Eliza Hittman and Druyan along with the film line-up for its ninth annual event, taking place March 18-22, 2020. The Iranian film There Is No Evil by Mohammad Rasoulof won the top prize, the Golden Bear for Best Film at the Berlin International Film Festival. The film also won the Guild Film Prize. Director Mohammad Rasoulof is banned from leaving Iran and was unable to accept the Golden Bear in person.

Sweet Thing by Alexandre Rockwell won the Crystal Bear for the Best Film in Generation Kplus at 2020 Berlin International Film Festival. Los Lobos (The Wolves) by Samuel Kishi Leopo, Mexico snagged the Grand Prix of the International Jury.
