The Latino Entertainment Journalists Association announced the winners for the 2019 Latino Entertainment Film Awards where “Parasite” won the most awards with five, including Best Picture, Director (Bong Joon-Ho), Original Screenplay (Bong Joon-Ho and Jin Won Han), International Feature (for the country of South Korea), and Film Editing (Yang Jinmo).
And Then We Danced and Aniara were crowned the winners of the 2020 Guldbagge Awards held in Stockholm yesterday, with four awards each. Levan Akin’s And Then We Danced won the top prize of Best Film, with the Best Director award going to Pella Kågerman and Hugo Lilja for Aniara.
Annie Silverstein’s acclaimed indie drama Bull which debuted in Un Certain Regard section of 2019 Cannes Film Festival, earning rave review, will open in select theaters and on digital/VOD on March 20, 2020 via Samuel Goldwyn Films. A&E Network’s Emmy Award-winning ‘Biography’ is set to air the two-hour documentary special exploring the many lives and decade-spanning career of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne. Featuring exclusive interviews with Ozzy as he reflects on the many phases of his journey, “The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne” will have its world premiere at SXSW in March and is set to air this summer on A&E.
