Ahead of March 10th US Release, Epic Pictures released a new trailer for the dark sci-fi thriller Transference directed by Matthew Ninaber. In the film, hunted by an unstoppable secret agent, a brother must hide his twin sister and her supernatural abilities so that she does not fall prey to becoming an experiment in a classified government program. Transference will open in L.A. on March 6th and land on VOD March 10th and Blu-Ray March 24th.

70 short films will compete at the 32nd Filmfest Dresden international short film festival ( April 21 to 26, 2020) for the much coveted “Golden Horsemen” trophies and special awards. With prize money totaling more than €67,000, Filmfest Dresden is counted among the highest endowed short film festivals in Europe. The new trailer dropped this week for the weird French comedy Deerskin (Le Daim) from Quentin Dupieux (Rubber, Wrong, Wrong Cops) which opened the 2019 Directors’ Fortnight, the independent sidebar running parallel to the Cannes Film Festival. The film stars Academy Award-winner Jean Dujardin as a man so obsessed with his designer deerskin jacket that it causes him to blow his life savings and turn to crime. Deerskin which also starts Adèle Haenel, Albert Delpy, Coralie Russier, Laurent Nicolas, and Pierre Gommé will open in theaters on March 20th, 2020.

Gravitas Ventures announced today the theatrical and VOD release date of Friday, March 20 for Amber McGinnis’ award-winning film International Falls. The dark comedy will wrap up a successful year-long film festival run with appearances in a trio of film festivals around the country, and in France at the 42nd International Women’s Film Festival.

This Spring, Ella Fitzgerald: Just One Of Those Things, directed by the award-winning Leslie Woodhead along with producer Reggie Nadelson will be released in theaters by Eagle Rock Entertainment. The film will be screened in select cinemas across the U.S, beginning April 3.
