
GLAAD today revealed the nominees of the 37th GLAAD Media Awards, honoring films including Hedda, Blue Moon, Sorry, Baby, and Kiss of the Spider Woman.


Karan Soni and Tony Award winner Jonathan Groff star in the award-winning romantic comedy A Nice Indian Boy as a newly engaged gay couple meeting Soni’s conservative Indian parents. It is based on the play by Madhuri Shekar. In an interesting twist, Groff plays a white man adopted by two Indian parents.

Better Man directed by Michael Gracey will open the 36th Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) taking place from January 2-13, 2025. The film is based on the true story of the meteoric rise, dramatic fall, and remarkable resurgence of British pop superstar Robbie Williams.

The 2024 Audience Choice Awards, and Juried Competition Award winners were presented at the conclusion of the 19th annual Oscar-qualifying Tasveer Film Festival in Seattle, Washington.

Armand directed by Halfdan Ullman Tøndel won the Award for Best Narrative Feature at the 32nd Hamptons International Film Festival. Viktor, directed by Olivier Sarbil, received the Award for Best Documentary Feature.

The Premiere of the the Netflix series 3 Body Problem created, executive produced and written by Emmy Award winners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss and Emmy Award nominee Alexander Woo will open the 31st edition of the SXSW Film & TV Festival taking place March 8-16, 2024.
