Art for Everybody is a revelatory documentary that delves into the life and legacy of Thomas Kinkade, the artist known as the “Painter of Light.” Kinkade’s art, characterized by idyllic cottages and serene landscapes, became both widely popular and critically controversial.

The 23rd San Francisco Documentary Film Festival (SF DocFest)which ran from May 30th to June 9th announced the winning documentary films with The Donn of Tiki directed by Alex Lamb, Max Wel winning Audience Award for Best Feature, and Art for Everybody directed by Miranda Yousef winning Jury Prize for Best Feature.

The 2023 Naples International Film Festival announced the filmmaker award winners with the jury prize for Best Narrative Feature (and a cash prize of $2,500) going to Vivian Kerr’s Scrap, and the jury prize for Best Documentary Feature (and $2,500) was given to Miranda Yousef’s Art For Everybody.

The 15th annual Naples International Film Festival (NIFF) set for October 26-29, 2023, will open with the East Coast premiere of R.J. Daniel Hanna’s epic cycling drama, Hard Miles, and will close with a special presentation of Steven Spielberg’s E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, featuring a live performance of John Williams’ iconic score by the Naples Philharmonic and conducted by Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly.
