Kino Lorber shared the official trailer for Banel & Adama, the Senegalese romantic drama film starring Khady Mane as Banel and Mamadou Diallo as Adama, young adults who fall in love and decide to live separately from their families in a remote village in northern Senegal, and find their relationship tested by pressures from the community.

The 50th Seattle International Film Festival will showcase a lineup of 261 films representing 84 countries/regions, including 92 features, 47 documentaries, five archival features, two special tributes, two secret screenings, and 115 short films. The festival takes place held May 9–19, 2024 at venues across Seattle and followed by a week of select virtual screenings on the SIFF Channel May 20–27.

Toronto International Film Festival 2023 unveiled this year’s Centrepiece (previously known as Contemporary World Cinema) program featuring 47 titles from filmmakers representing 45 countries. Films include Close Your Eyes by Víctor Erice, Fallen Leaves by Aki Kaurismäki, Green Border by Agnieszka Holland, and Perfect Days by Wim Wenders.
