Flee is among the top animated films with five nominations for the 49th Annie Awards.
The Academy announced the films eligible for the Animated, Documentary Feature and International Feature Film categories for the 94th Academy Awards.
From the celebrated Academy Award®-nominated director Mamoru Hosoda comes a fantastical, heartfelt story of growing up in the age of social media.
Films include Slumber Party Massacre, a contemporary and fun reimagining of the 1982 slasher cult classic directed by Danishka Esterhazy.

Among the films are Red Rocket, Sean Baker’s newest depiction of contemporary America as a playground for hustlers and con men, set against the backdrop of the 2016 presidential election.
