
The 61st Chicago International Film Festival set to take place October 15 – 26, 2025, announced the full lineup of 111 feature films and 70 shorts.

Everything Everywhere All at Once snagged nine awards along with the honor of Best Narrative Film of 2023 at the North Carolina Film Critics Association eleventh annual awards for achievements in film. The film also won Best Director for the Daniels, Best Actress for Michelle Yeoh, Best Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan, Best Supporting Actress for Stephanie Hsu, Best Original Screenplay, Best Acting Ensemble, Best Editing, and Best Production Design. Nine wins is the most for any film in the history of the North Carolina Film Critics Association’s Best of Cinema annual honors.

Everything Everywhere All at Once was voted the best film of 2022 by the Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association according to the results of its 29th annual critics’ poll. The film also won Best Director for Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert and Best Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan.

Phoenix Critics Circle awarded The Banshees of Inisherin, the top honor of Best Picture of 2022 along with Best Screenplay for Martin Mcdonagh.

Everything Everywhere All At Once scored with the Washington, D.C. Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) winning four major awards including Best Film, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor for former child star Ke Huy Quan’s breakthrough return to acting after a 20-year hiatus.

The Banshees of Inisherin lead the nominations for the 80th Golden Globe Awards with eight nominations including Best Picture Drama, Best Director along with Screenplay, Motion Picture for Martin McDonagh, Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy for Colin Farrell, Actor in a Supporting Role in Film for Brendan Gleeson and Barry Keoghan; and Actress in a Supporting Role in Film for Kerry Condon.
