Sony Pictures Classics released the official trailer for Compartment No. 6, the Finnish arctic road movie which has been short-listed for the Best International Feature Film Oscar, as well as nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and the Golden Globe in their International Feature categories.
Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast and Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog lead the nominations for the 79th Annual Golden Globe Awards, with seven nominations each, including Best Motion Picture – Drama and Best Director.
The 24th annual SCAD Savannah Film Festival returns in-person and virtually from October 23–30, 2021 with 157 films, including 45 narrative feature films, 15 documentary feature films and 97 shorts – with 63 of these films directed by women.

Sony Pictures Classics will release Juho Kuosmanen’s Compartment No.6., winner of the Grand Prix at this year’s 2021 Cannes Film Festival. Inspired by the novel Compartment No.6 by Rosa Liksom, the film stars Seidi Haarla (Force of Habit, Love & Order) and Yuriy Borisov (Petrov’s Flu).
