The Brutalist dominated the 2024 Portland Critics Association Awards winning 10 honors, including Best Picture, Best Director for Brady Corbet, Best Lead Performance (Male) for Adrien Brody, Best Supporting Performance (Male) for Guy Pearce, and Best Ensemble Cast.

Sean Baker’s Anora topped the 2024 Houston Film Critics Society Awards, winning 3 honors including Best Picture, Best Actress in a Leading Role for Mikey Madison, and Best Screenplay.

Conclave leads the nominations for the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards with 12 nominations including Best Film and Outstanding British Film. Emilia Pérez followed with 11 nominations, and The Brutalist with 9 nominations, both also competing for Best Film.

Rich Peppiatt’s Kneecap leads the nominations for the 2025 Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) Awards with 17, including Best Film. Also nominated for Best Film are Kathleen Is Here, King Frankie, Small Things Like These, Spilt Milk, and The Apprentice.

The Brutalist was named Best Film at the 18th Alliance of Women Film Journalists Awards, however, The Substance lead with 4 awards including Best Director, Best Original Screenplay awards for Coralie Fargeat along with Best Female Director and and Best Female Screenwriter also for Coralie Fargeat in a tie with Payal Kapadia of All We Imagine as Light.
