The Oscar® qualifying New York International Children’s Film Festival (NYICFF), now in its 23rd year, runs February 21 through March 15, 2020, will present a slate of new animated, live action, and documentary features, alongside 10 short film collections, for audiences of all ages, with a dedicated focus for those aged 3-18. Tickets go on sale January 15 for Members and January 22 for the general public.
For 12 days from October 2 to 13, the 63rd BFI London Film Festival (LFF) will showcase 229 feature films including 41 documentaries, 7 animations, 13 archive restorations and 7 artists’ moving image features. The program also includes 116 short films.
The official program of the 72nd edition of the Locarno Film Festival was announced this week, along with tributes – the Leopard Club Award for Hilary Swank, the Vision Award Ticinomoda for Claire Atherton, the Premio Utopia for Enrico Ghezzi and the Premio Cinema Ticino for Fulvio Bernasconi.
