Rian Johnson’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery opens the line-up for the 9th annual Miami Film Festival GEMS taking place November 3-10. GEMS 2022 festival will feature two Centerpiece Screenings of the ensemble drama Women Talking and Brendan Fraser drama The Whale, and close with Steven Spielberg’s The Fabelmans.
The 2022 Hamptons International Festival (HIFF) unveiled the full slate of films including the Closing Night presentation of the New York premiere of SR., directed by Chris Smith, and the Centerpiece screening of Sarah Polley’s Women Talking. Carl and Yaya find themselves marooned on a desert island with a group of billionaires and one of the ship’s cleaners. Hierarchy is suddenly flipped upside down, as the housekeeper is the the only one who knows how to fish.
