Directed by Wynette Yao, the documentary District of Second Chances chronicles three men who were sentenced in their youth to life in prison and now have the chance to plead for release, thanks to forward-looking “Second Chance” legislation in Washington, D.C.
Dances With Films returns to New York City for the second time, November 30-December 3, with a film lineup nearly three times the size of last year’s NYC debut. DWF alum Dylan K. Narang’s Tapawingo is the Opening Night selection, and Nicholas Gyeney’s psychological thriller The Activated Man will make its world premiere in the Closing Night slot.
