Everything Everywhere All at Once and Tár tied for the top honor of Best Picture of the Year by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA).

The American Film Institute (AFI) announced the AFI Awards 2022 honorees including 10 outstanding films and 10 outstanding TV programs deemed culturally and artistically representative of this year’s most significant achievements in the art of the moving image. Films include Everything Everywhere All At Once, She Said, Tár and Women Talking

The National Board of Review announced their 2022 honorees, with top awards including Top Gun: Maverick for Best Film; Steven Spielberg for Best Director for The Fabelmans; Colin Farrell for Best Actor for The Banshees of Inisherin; and Michelle Yeoh for Best Actress for Everything Everywhere All at Once.

The African American Film Critics Association’s revealed its list of the top 10 films of the year with The Woman King taking the top honor of Best Picture of 2022. Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, The Woman King stars Viola Davis, Lashana Lynch, Sheila Atim, Thuso Mbedu and John Boyega. Also making the list are Til, Sidney, The Inspection, Causeway and Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Everything Everywhere All At Once directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (The Daniels) was named Best Picture of 2022 by the Atlanta Film Critics Circle. The film also received the honors of Best Director for The Daniels and Best Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan.

Michelle Yeoh will receive the International Star Award, Actress for Everything Everywhere All at Once at Palm Springs International Film Awards. The Film Awards will take place in-person on January 5, 2023 with the festival running through January 16, 2023.

Everything Everywhere All at Once, written and directed by (The Daniels) Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, won Best Feature at the 32nd Annual Gotham Awards. The film follows a middle-aged, overwhelmed laundromat owner who finds she can save the universe and her family unit by harnessing powers from different versions of her unexplored lives.

Everything Everywhere All At Once led the nominations for the 2023 Film Independent Spirit Awards with eight total nominations, including Best Director for Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert, and acting nominations for stars Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ke Huy Quan and Stephanie Hsu. Tár received seven nominations including Best Director for Todd Field and acting nominations for Cate Blanchett and Nina Hoss.

Todd Fields’ Tár led the nominations for the 32nd Annual Gotham Awards with five nods including Best Feature, Best Screenplay, Best Lead Performance for Cate Blanchett and two in Best Supporting Performance for Nina Hoss and Noémie Merlant.

A24 released the official trailer for Everything Everywhere All at Once, Daniels epic and emotional new film starring Michelle Yeoh, Stephanie Hsu, Ke Huy Quan, Jenny Slate, Harry Shum Jr., with James Hong and Jamie Lee Curtis. Everything Everywhere All at Once will have its world premiere as the opening night film of SXSW on March 11, 2022, and opens in theaters on March 25, 2021.
