The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the 353 feature films eligible for the 2024 Academy Awards; of which 207 feature films are eligible for consideration in the Best Picture category, which has additional eligibility requirements beyond those for general entry.

The Kneecap trio Liam Óg Ó Hannaidh, Naoise Ó Cairealláin, JJ Ó Dochartaigh are nominated for Best Joint Lead Performance. The film is also nominated for eight craft categories.

The European Film Academy added 21 more films to the shortlist for the European Film Awards’ Feature Film Selection 2023, now comprising 40 European feature films. This year’s feature film selection includes an increased number of female filmmakers with 18 female directors out of all 43 directors of the 40 selected films.
