Tár starring Cate Blanchett Tár, Todd Field’s drama starring Cate Blanchett as the fictional renowned musician Lydia Tár, won the Overall Audience Favorite award at the 45th Mill Valley Film Festival. Other audience awards went to The Whale for Audience Favorite | US Cinema; Our Father, The Devil for Audience Favorite | US Indie; The Banshees of Inisherin for Audience Favorite | World Cinema; Close for Audience Favorite | World Cinema (foreign language); and The Grab for Audience Favorite | Documentary.

2022 Hamptons Film Festival Announces Lineup, Closes with Robert Downey Sr. Documentary
SR directed by Chris Smith The 2022 Hamptons International Festival (HIFF) unveiled the full slate of films including the Closing Night presentation of the New York premiere of SR., directed by Chris Smith, and the Centerpiece screening of Sarah Polley’s Women Talking. The 30th edition of the festival will feature a lineup of films that are 54% female-directed and represent 34 countries from around the world.
