European Film Awards 2022 Reveals First 30 Films Eligible for Feature Film Selection

The Feature Film Selection includes films that the Board of the Academy recommends to all Academy members for a nomination for the European Film Awards 2022. In a second part, 10-15 further titles for the Feature Film Selection will be announced in September.

GIRL PICTURE to Open and TRAMPS! to Close 2022 BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival

Girl Picture, Alli Haapasalo’s spirited coming-of-age drama will open the 36th edition of BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival set to run March 16th – 27, 2022. The festival will close with Tramps!, directed by documentary filmmaker Kevin Hegge, whose previous film She Said Boom: The Story of Fifth Column screened at BFI Flare in 2013.

Berlin Film Festival 2022 Reveals First Films

2022 Sundance Film Festival Announces Feature Films, Indie Episodic, New Frontier Lineups
When You Finish Saving the World The 2022 Sundance Film Festival set to take place January 20–30, 2022, announced the films selected in the Feature Film, Indie Episodic, and New Frontier categories. The full slate of works announced includes 82 feature-length films representing 28 countries, and 39 of 92 (42%) feature film directors are first-time feature filmmakers.
