The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the three hundred twenty-one feature films eligible for the 2023 Academy Awards®. There are 265 feature films eligible for consideration in the Best Picture category, which has additional eligibility requirements beyond those for general entry.

Berlinale confirms more films for the 2023 Berlin International Film Festival, including eight more films with guests such as Jeon Do-yeon, Pierfrancesco Favino, Felix Lobrecht, Mario Martone, Helen Mirren, Peter Simonischek and David Wnendt for Berlinale Special; 20 short films from 15 countries competing in Berlinale Shorts; and a Forum Special exploring different aspects of Black culture.
SAG Award® and Oscar®-winning actress Helen Mirren has been named the 57th recipient of SAG-AFTRA’s highest tribute: the SAG Life Achievement Award for career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment. Mirren will be presented the performers union’s top accolade at the 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards which will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
